the unexpected

Sometimes it seems like life can just be after you.... Within the last month I can say I've been through some rough times.

Last Week started off with my car breaking down, I didn't think things could get worst and amongst the chaos of the week. My dog got hit by a car and died. Maybe you don't understand but most dog owners know they really become a part of the family, he was my closets friend.

This week as I look for things to get better. Two nights ago a good friend of mine is put in the ER for crashing her ATV and breaking virtually every born in her face and cracking her skull. She has been in acoma for two days ago, and although they say there can be good signs, they still don't know what is going to happen. They weren't even sure she was going to make it through the first night.

Things can be incredibly overwhelming and it starts to make you think about the cruelty of life. Yet on the other hand I started to think of all the beauty this world has to offer. When we find ourselves on the other side of the bends and twists in life. How amazing it can be. The first couple nights there was over 100 people that came to see my friend Emily. It was amazing to see the amount of love that exists among us.

Also as I begin to think about my friends situation and my own. I began to wonder how many other people are dealing with something like this in another place. Strangely enough this gave me a little sense of comfort because although we all probably been places in our lives we'd never like to go again. We have endured, and things like the love created by the masses of people care for each other, in fact do exist.

That gives me hope.
