A little about me...
Obsessed with design and anything related (graphic design for print, web, logos, advertising, branding, seo ... you name it ...)
Also going a little stir crazy lately with the amount of time I spend in front of the computer ... love the outdoors, the sun and the water. Went kayaking recently - love that. Went surfing a few years ago - love that too but there's nowhere to do that in KY. Love budget traveling and wish I did more of it.
Along with the crafty side of things, I do like certain types of DIY projects. I grew up with a sewing machine in the house and plenty of beads but I haven't been doing much along those lines lately. I've knitted a few scarves as well but can't see myself knitting sweaters anytime soon.
I'm also a bit of a geek too: I soldered the audio jack back into a palm tungsten e someone was getting rid of so I would have a better pda and last year rebuilt my desktop pc from almost scratch (kept the processor, case and cd drive ... the old hard drive stayed but I added a second one, then everything else from the power to the motherboard I replaced.) I do love my mac laptop and I'm a big apple fan but I do also run windows and for websites I prefer linux servers. Don't ask me to choose...
Eventually I'm going to get my personal website set up and hopefully that will be soon. When I do, I'll just post a link to that instead of trying to keep my info on all of these community sites up to date (I've got accounts alllll over the place: myspace, facebook, ryze, linked in, ning.... and who knows where else.)

Well yeah a new case could be "pretty" but the one I have is HUGE and very functional with nice slide out removable mounts for the hard drives and plenty of places to put fans. There are 3 fans in there currently and space for a few more without hacking the case.
Maybe next time I clean it out I'll take pics of its innards.
I could upgrade the processor but I mostly use it for a pseudo server and a few other things that don't need much processor power and I think I would have to replace both the motherboard and the processor since I bought the motherboard to fit the existing processor instead of trying to upgrade both at the time I was doing the upgrading. I think it's a socket A type of AMD processor but don't quote me on that.

Well I have the 2006 80 GB classic & the 32GB iPod touch both sound qualities are great but I must agree about the classic being better. I've been getting alot positive feedback about Sennheiser so I'll give it a shot. Thanks for the info!
