Hiking in Yankee Boy Basin August 2008
Small glacier lake on the way up to Blue Lakes Pass above the Yankee Boy Basin in the San Juan Mountains of Colorado
This is the view from about 12,000 feet elevation looking east.
The top of the saddle of Blue Lakes Pass. This is the border of the Mount Sneffels Wilderness. This is close to 13,000 feet altitude.
Delicate wildflower bluebells growing in the rugged mountains.
