A Little Bit About Me:

I enjoy partying, meeting new people, backpacking and music. Music is a big thing in my life. Both listening to it and playing.

I love to read. It coud be books or blogs about traveling, GTD, or techie stuff like coding and hardware.

I'm very intersted in financial investments and I'm week trading at the Nordic stock exchanges.

My job is to teach and do research at our university. Best thing is my students.

Peeling office tape produces X-rays

From News@Nature:

Researchers at the University of California, Los Angeles, have shown that simply peeling ordinary sticky tape in a vacuum can generate enough X-rays to take an image — of one of the scientists' own fingers.

Look no more — Skynet begins here

From News@Nature:

A team of European physicists has developed an integrated circuit that can build itself. The work, appearing in this week's Nature, is an important step towards its ultimate goal — a self-assembling computer.

Compiling PyMOL for Fedora 9

This is a short walk-through on compiling PyMOL on Linux Fedora 9.

First make sure you have administrator privileges on your Fedora system, i.e. that you are a sudoer. We also need Subversion to be able to check out the PyMOL source.

$ sudo yum -y install python-devel libpng-devel freeglut-devel freetype-devel tk-devel tcl-devel tkinter numpy

K cool :)..

Hey Goran. I love the small things - like someone writing something really nice on my wall :o)

Jose is really from Sweden? Wow. I would have never guessed. He is an amazing guitarist. The first time I ever heard him I saw him playing his guitar. It blew my mind that someone could be that talented.
