I think it's because the people's lives are missing something in their lives and the movie tries to fill that hole for them. I saw Avatar and thought it was good, but it didn't make me feel like my whole life was never complete before it.
Some years ago when I lived in Spain my life was quite stressful because constant trying to comprehend even basic spanish. Even though I enjoyed being there very much at the same time, problems with communication made me dwell on negative thoughts…
Sufjan Steven's "Come on! Feel the Illinoise" and "The Avalanche" albums. He's made me look at my city, my state and my home is a brand new light.
No need for the sorry, I know how it is when an your trying to get your gear up an running but customer service has no clue whats going on with their own stuff lol.
Just take your time and keep cool, I waited 5 months for Epic Fu, I can wait a few…
