Sticky tape generates X-rays
When I first read this title, I thought it was a joke. But apparently it's for real, according to an article on the Nature website. If you never noticed before, when you peel sticky tape in the dark, you can see a faint blue light. And apparently there's more than just light being produced. What I was referring to, was that the way that this "could" move forward, was that people might be able to search for info about any random person through taking a photograph in the street, they don't even have to be famous.
