I'm a mixture of things. I've got an academic side (BSc in Computer Science with Information Engineering), I'm an IT pro (member of the BCS and a qualified computer engineer) and I've been known to do a lot of volunteering (numerous things in my university's student union). I've got an artistic side too as I write poetry, bits of philosophy and I do a lot of photo manipulation. Apart from that, I like to socialise and experience new things.
My favourite artists/groups include: Pink Floyd, Deep Purple, Metallica, Jimi Hendrix, Sarah Brightman, Seal, Live, Bach, Timbaland, The Crystal Method
Favorite TV Shows:
24, The Daily Show, House, Shark, UFC, Cage Rage, Battlestar Galactica, Robin Hood
upon further reflection regarding the fonts thing (and after consulting some of my designer friends) the font that I was looking for was Bank Gothic. The kerning sucks, but if you can fiddle with it, you can get it to do exactly what I'm talking about
None of them really strike me. I don't really know who the client is or anything, but here's what I would think if I were the client.
The big red X is going to be the most powerful image in your logo, so you're on the right track in making it the most dominant image.
I'd change the following:
1) Font, you don't do much variation in fonts between your options and the font you've chosen is a weak one for a display font. I'd suggest something like Impact or Futura. What you're looking for is a lean sans-serif font without a tail on the "t"
2) Align the center of the "o" in Vote with the axis point on the X.
3) Keep the X Symmetrical. The example you have in option 3 is a decent font choice. I'd stay away from stylizing the X too much. It's the foundation of your design, you don't want to unbalance it.
Aside from that, it's not clear to me what your logos are trying to say about your product. Which is to say, simplify and centralize your design. That will guide you a lot better than anything I've said above.
LOL @ earwax. I have never been a big fan of Pioneer headphones. The last Pioneer headphones i purchased were the SE-NC70S and in about three months the right side died out and the battery life was crap. What I do like about pioneer is the sound q...
Well I have the 2006 80 GB classic & the 32GB iPod touch both sound qualities are great but I must agree about the classic being better. I've been getting alot positive feedback about Sennheiser so I'll give it a shot. Thanks for the info!
lol dear Mr. Wolf, I've gone down this road before. I can't handle the uncertainty and mind boggle. Have you seen the movie "The Believer"? If so, remember the end? The dude keeps climbing the stairs, again and again, each time facing the same man...
Thank you for the reply.
Right now I am working on some clips for youtube and other online media. I am thinking about putting our prime minster (Meles Zenawi) who ordered the 194 students shot dead on May 15,2005 right alongside Sadam Husseine.

OneWingedFly, I'm deeply sorry to hear of your homeland's current situation. I had no idea about any of this. :(
One thing that I would note is that you can't MAKE people care, necessarily. People have to make up their own opinions and beliefs in...

That's my opinion, anyhow. I hope it helps.
