What's on TV ?

Ever wondered about french television ? How the news from all around the world are related over here ? What are the most popular shows and why they are popular ? Well, even if you never wondered about it, I will try to tell you about it.

Let's begin with a presentation of the main channels : tf1, France 2, France 3, Arte/France 5, and M6 and the most important private channel among them, canal +. There is also since something like three years now, the channels of the TNT... but I will stop there for the presentation because it won't be of any interest for what will follow.

So, I will now leave some room for the images, that will probably be accompanied with short comments.

The TV News
I will show you two different means (among many others) we have to get the News on TV, the first one is classic TV news and the other comes in the form of a hopping from channels to channels. I have to admit that the latter is my favorite because it is maybe freer than traditional tv news...

The news in a hopping of channels we call it Le Zapping, this one is from April 14th , 2008. I think that here there's no need to comment because even if you don't understand the language at times, the images speak for themselves.

A funny teaser...Also, for having watched the show a few times already, let me tell you that this year the level is really high, the singers who are on the show really know what they're doing.
