How to make 3d Graphics?
I often see pictures like this from the apple site. And I think they look great. But how can I make them? I have no idea. Is there any way to make it with Photoshop or a other CS programm...

3D's Max (3D Studio Max) or any other 3D Rendering program some of it may be done Illustrator (like the purple orb) the other is probably done in Apple Motion 3 for Macs only and is a really neat video rendering software. Below is a screenshot of a render I have made.

I don't think so. =\ You need a program that can render in 3 views rather than 2 giving it the infamous 3D look. Which most aren't easy to use and take hours of learning to use.

Hey Man try blender. Its a free open source 3d software program that is really powerful! It is a lot like maya a professional 3d program. From what I read blender was used to storyboard out spiderman 3! too bad it couldn't make it a better movie. lol
Also there are a number of tutorials for blender on wikipedia that give you step by step directions on creating objects.
unfortunately there is no short cut to making great 3d images.. just blood, sweat and tears and talent thats why the pros get the big bucks!

I think the most easy, or fun to use is 3d studio max. the latest version of this program is 3d studio max 9. you can find tutorials ( video tutorials :D ) from lynda.com. or download them. i`ve downloaded Lynda.com - 3ds Max 9 Essential Training, a very nice video tutorial. helps with the basics. i hope i`ve helped you. laters

Blender is definitely the way to go. Combine it with YafRay and you'll be making renders similar in quality to the expensive 3dsMax or Maya. ^^

Heard a bit of chiptune-age in there... did you get the audio from .XM files by any chance?
What I was referring to, was that the way that this "could" move forward, was that people might be able to search for info about any random person through taking a photograph in the street, they don't even have to be famous.
