Haxe is this interesting programming language I stumbled across a while back. It is very similar to AS2/3 when looking at the syntax...and it even compiles to .swf files. But since its just a programming language it lacks an IDE of course. Still, the results you get out of the programming can match a lot of those made in FlashMX and similar programs.

I'll attach one of the programs I made to test the language. You can't however make me responsible for any damage this may cause to your computer, obviously. You are using it at your own risk. All it SHOULD do is make a triangle spin around your browser window. If you are interested in the source-code I'll post it right here. ^^

Heard a bit of chiptune-age in there... did you get the audio from .XM files by any chance?
What I was referring to, was that the way that this "could" move forward, was that people might be able to search for info about any random person through taking a photograph in the street, they don't even have to be famous.
