(1) Almost 4,000 American soldiers dead

(2) 28,000 seriously wounded.

(3) Johns Hopkins University estimates 655,000 Iraqi deaths as of October 2006 -- now perhaps a million, mostly civilians, some babies.

(4) 4.5 million Iraqis of a total 27 million have fled their country or been forced from their homes.

(5) 40 percent of Iraq's professional class has left Iraq since 2003, slowing rebuilding and the rule of law.

(6) No-bid companies like Halliburton "lost" huge amounts of money that were to be spent on reconstruction.

(7) These companies hired Americans or foreigners instead of Iraqis, leaving many Iraqis unemployed.

(8) Al-Qaeda, which was not in Iraq before our invasion, now has a footing there and they've tripled their recruits.

(9) The USA spends $720 million per day on the Iraq War -- more than $1 trillion in five years, according to economist Joseph Stiglitz and business professor Linda Bilms.

(10) America has a huge deficit and is now heading for an economic depression.
