my most recurring dream-themes are either the epic good vs. evil battle, or of being pursued by some terrible thing.
Good vs. Evil: I've been charged with guarding/guiding a holy Tibetan procession through the mountainous regions of my grandparents living room, elephants and all, while protecting them from attacking demons. just like in the movies, it all comes down to that one well-placed spear-throw.
Pursued by Terrors: these dreams tend to have a peculiar aspect to them. they always take place in some commonplace or familiar location, T-Rex in the Grocery store, Raptors in the Arcade, Frankenstein at my old Middle School, an elite paramilitary force at my High School.
my most recurring dreamscape is my grandparents' house where I grew up.
and I've managed to manifest a variety of potent lucid dreamscapes as well. two summers ago, I was going through an extremely chaotic period (divorce, etc), as well as having just begun an in depth exploration of the tarot and Qabala. this produced an interesting reaction in my subconscious that I'm still analyzing 2 years later. I'll detail this later, maybe in a different thread.
(might you want us to start thread for individual dreams?)
mmm I have to admit the one main recurring dream I have is really weird. It's really scary to me when I'm in the dream but when I wake I just dont understand why I'm freaking out.
It starts with me being stuck in a dank dark alley way. The walls are dripping. The shadows stretch around corners and it smells. Its a really thin walled up space where you start to feel restricted. But I'm comfortable there. Just when I go to touch the walls the dream switches to a sun drenched meadow of buttercups and long grass. Its all blue sky and nothing but grass and flowers in all directions. There is no wind and no sound and I usually freak out about this time.
For some reason the dank alley way doesnt scare me no where near as much as being in that meadow. I always wake up as soon as I'm there. Just gives me the shivers thinking about it.
God knows what its all about... as its the complete opposite in real life.
ive had mine a while and i treat em like hell, they sound as good the day i got them, but are not as kinesteticly pleasing, ive scratched them pretty well
LOL @ earwax. I have never been a big fan of Pioneer headphones. The last Pioneer headphones i purchased were the SE-NC70S and in about three months the right side died out and the battery life was crap. What I do like about pioneer is the sound q...
Well I have the 2006 80 GB classic & the 32GB iPod touch both sound qualities are great but I must agree about the classic being better. I've been getting alot positive feedback about Sennheiser so I'll give it a shot. Thanks for the info!
