Ok, so i dont post here as much as i would like, but i was in Africa for half the year, so i think thats a good reason.

Im just interested to see what people think of my new film reel. Would love to hear what people like, and what they think needs to be worked on.

shooting on a Sony Z1U and FX1, as for codec, i just exporte HDV 1080i60 compression type and upload the file, its big, but it was just within the limits.

I just found a way on youtube to embed hd onto my site, check this out

I'm rather shocked that an HDV workflow through a Z1U and an FX1 looks this good. Been messing with the darn things for years and I'm sure all Sony products hate me and refuse to work out of spite. I've moved into Panasonic P2 and AVCHD happiness however. Go solid state! Haha. Anyway, this is really good and I'm glad it's worked for you.

Great job! Great Videography! Did you use a Depth of Field Adapter on your camera or is that just one of the settings in the camera? Did you use for FCP color correction it has a great look. Also, why were you in Africa was it a project you were working on?
