The internet is great! with it, movies like these can get direct opinions from its watchers, assuming people still watch these crappy unmeaningful hollywood movies. What the hell is happening to the movie industry?. This is one of the reasons why i watch independent films. Couldnt they think of a better idea than to destroy the Dragonball name, (i am not a DBZ fanboy as i have not seen an episode since my childhood years.) Could they even STICK to the storyline of the anime? DID they even watch a single episode of DB?
Look guys! its Dragon Ball with guns explosions, Dont even get me starting on how they chose the actors! im only ranting about how stupid their movie brains are. racism is for another rant.
If hitler was born today in the age of the internet he would not gotten away with murdering jews. And this one aint sliding as well. (i am not comparing the two)
What do you guys think? because all i see is "FAIL" on its name. will this fail or win?
Do you guys think this was be another internet AND movie fail? Why the fuck are they still making movies with Shiny graphics but no meaning behind it what happened to the old creative movie ideas, makers. wtf?
SIgh, that makes me sad. As a fan boy myself. It sucks to see another one take the shittier. Unfortunately, it hardly matters what we all think. It has to do if it catches enough attention on mainstream market. Look at X-men. That being another one of my all time favorites and see the progressions of the movies it made me sad. What makes me said is there are movies who have stayed true to the essence of the anime or comics. Spider-man did a good job, along with transformers. They probably never get it 100% correct but they can get a heck of a lot closer than that. (EPIC SIGH)
thats the worst part. because then you are accepting that it is a piece of crap movie. Paying them for a crappy movie b/c of the name is why movies like this are made. They know they can make money off it even if it is in pure curiosity of the fan boys. We should be responsible consumers show that we will not accept a crappy movie like this and just wait until it comes out on tv or something to watch it. You are just enabling the movie market to make another crappy movie they know people will buy b/c it has a name or a brand... (sighing some more)
I was pretty into DB and DBZ as a kid and often dreamed of what a live action movie would be like. It wasn't this. My major complaint about the trailer is that they're trying to make it seem like a drama. The show was ridiculous and crass and that's why I liked it.
I'll still watch it for nostalgia's sake and hope it's entertaining. (Probably won't pay for it though)
Do you think new adaptations of shows and movies hurt the original? I see them as helping exposure to the original. It's like a thread bump. It might be devoid of meaning or quality, but it gets you reminiscing and talking again.
ok but in all seriousness this time: if people aren't 'keen' on something, why not just NOT do it? if you don't want strangers finding you on facebook, then keep your profile private. this is why these options are available yes?
Just found something interesting Thanks to Engadget
I'm not too sure about where this is going to be honest, some people might not be that keen on online history to be bought up through a stealthily taken photograph =/ .
Jay and silent bob mig...
I have been checking EpicFu every now and then. The last "video" item I see happened on 6/21/2009.
I feel like I am lost, missing something (like a new website), or pushed out of the loop.
Please help.
