my nephew likes hip hop harry .. i think it is just a bit scary, but cool at the same time .. .my niece likes pop music .. like brittney spears .. hannah montana or something like that .. i dunno what the names of the artists are for sure .. but it is like someone took my hands and ran them threw a meat grinder while soaking my feet in acid then stabbing me in the face with a icepick and rubbing salt all over the wounds .. that is about as close as i can get to summing it up .. the voices are just so irratating and shit ... she forces me to listen to the same records over and over and over .. kinda like her mom did with the whole hanson "mmmbop" thing ... sonic torture ...

Haha thats just cute well Hannah Montana is okay but the music from that doues get really anying and i know what you mean my niece loves her and wont stop playing it so i get what you mean... loving the disribing of how you feel lol`sz very out there kinda stuff =]

My wife Likes Spice Girls and actually has tickets to the reunion tour when it hits here in Chicagoland. I didn't get them the first time and I still don't get 'em now....

Haha well i guess you have to put up with all of that well i use to like them when i was younger but still there is nothing ronge with likeing the Sice Girls. Even though alot of people have gone off there type of music......

I think this is my house through and through.

my partner is a huge heavy metal fan which is fine if its just tool or a perfect circle but then she drags out the slip knot which I can't stand.

I usually retaliate with a volly of chip tubes, chicago house and detroit techno.

my friends and i are huge hip hop fans but when im alone im usually bumping the shit outta some beatles, dylan, old ass punk, some hip hopish alternative like NERD, Portishead, or some other type of artist that isn't "hip hop" per se and i get flamed for it hard

i can't stand being pigeon held to a genre but i have to bite the bullet when friends are around.... anyone know what i mean?

oh yeah ... my buddies are like fucking ga ga over some rapper i think his name is little wanye or some shit like that ...can't stand it ... i call it baa-baa music for thier uSheeps (that is what i call iPods btw)

that style of hip hop seriously takes no train of thought

rhymes with lame metaphors or predictable lines are garbage imo

like hip hop it's self is like punk rock it isn't dead it has cancer ... the true MC's are still there they are just ducking back to the underground where the love is ... not the fame and money ... can't stand that "bubblegum" rap as you call it ..

Loving Neue Deutsche Härte at the Moment, (pronounced "Noy Doytcher Herter"). Literally Translated means "new German Hardness". That basically boils down to German Industrial Metal.

Especially "oomph" and my own personal favorites Rammstein

I don't like a lot of music that my peers listen to. The music my family listens to is tolerable, at least in my opinion. I can't stand a lot of rap and heavy metal, though there are specific songs that I do like.

... Give me songs from the 60s-90s any day.
