I went to an early screening last week, and enjoyed it very much. It's a freaky monster, moving all weird and knocking crap all over. I ran home and posted one of the first Cloverfield reviews in the nation. Go check it out if you want. I don't tell you the ending or nothing, but BE WARNED, I do have pictures and description of the monster.

I haven't heard anything about it yet, but the previews have me curious. Nick do you work at a movie theatre? If you do were in the same boat LOL :P

You can check out all the Slusho! gear at www.slusho.jp, click on 'Store'. It's a freaky site and the first big find in the viral marketing game that started in July for the movie.

I think I postedt his elsewhere, but since you asked about the shirt I'll add: they just announced sale of the cloverfield monster action figure. Not sure I'd really want the figure, but just seeing the detail of it would be cool after so much speculation. Details at my blog if your curious.

yeah i caught the movie last night and i knew when i herd it was gana be all footage from a cam corder it would be good because it was as if you were the person behind the camera and you knew noting of whats going on! to me this is a must see

I havent actually seen the movie but i have heard that its a load of ****. Its blair witch project all over again...The monster is so hilariously stupid and the storyline has a crappy ending

If you like your movies in traditional formats, if you like everything wrapped up, smooth transitions and predictable endings, if you don't like directors who take a chance, then you might want to adjust your expectations before going. This isn't King Kong sitting on the top of NY crying at how beautiful the sunrise is; this isn't godzilla seen from a mile away stomping on toy houses, this isn't 40 other big monster movies filmed the same way to show how wonderfull their cgi is. This is a weird, undefinable ugly abomination with huge teeth right on top of you, stomping on the guy next to you, making you pee and run at the same time 20 feet from his 70-yard long triple-sectioned arms. It's not a view from 30 feet behind the troopers as they battle bugs in Starship Trooper, it's the view of the actual guy on the front line with bugs trying to rip his face off. Yes the style is very Blair Witch, BUT it's Blair Witch where the demonic witch isn't imagined, she's right there beside you, and she's fierce as Alien, and she's the size of a battleship, and you turn the camera to the left to see her pull your guts out and wrap them around your neck. Shaky? you betcha, you'd be shaky too if it was more than sounds in the woods, but the actual monster there in your camp.

It's messy, it's intense, and it's something different. If you don't like something different, wait for a new Mummy movie. This takes 1st person POV and has fun with it, tests it, pushes it's limits, even comes up with a reasonable way to do flashbacks.

You've got to be kidding me... That's what I call lazy opinion. If you can only talk crap about something you don't even know what it is, maybe you should just stand back and think about how ridiculous your comment sounds. Seriously, I'm not saying you're ridiculous, but I'm saying your comment is, so maybe work on developping opinions, and base your judgement on some actual fact. If you didn't like the movie, very well, but please go see it before talking non-sense.

I wasnt giving my own opinion neither was i saying that I personally hated it...when you read a comment you have to read the whole thing and acknowledge the words surrounding it...LOOK at any other comment half of them say I've HEARD this or ive HEARD that...dont jump down someones throught untill you read the statement carefully. Cami asked for an opinion...i gove her one
