I have not had a chance to look into this but I was told that there are components in cell phones that are only found in mines that are also were Gorillas live. As a result they are being killed by locals. Has anyone else heard of this? Or is it a rumor

Yes, the metal ore in question is coltan, from which niobium and tantalum are extracted. Tantalum is used mainly in capacitors, and they go into any and all electronic devices. The mining of this ore in Congo threatens the Eastern Lowland gorillas' habitat, which live exclusively in the forests of Congo, and the money made form the mining are helping to finance the present-day conflict in the Congo.

Well I have the 2006 80 GB classic & the 32GB iPod touch both sound qualities are great but I must agree about the classic being better. I've been getting alot positive feedback about Sennheiser so I'll give it a shot. Thanks for the info!
