To be honest it doesn't look like you've done much work. It looks like all you've done is change their skin to one colour/tone in the first 3 and and overlayed in the last. In the first one I do like the effect of the snow hood but the whole neon barbwire and the CaPitaL leTTers in the middle of a word look cheap. The colours of the text in the first and third dont look too good either because of the colours/texture. Its weird how you've changed the skin of each picture to a single, solid tone yet gone the opposite way with the text.
I think if you're going to try this effect I think you should only use portraitssuch as the first picture, where the majority of the image is taken up by the persons skin and not background, scenery or clothes. It looks loads better :)
NIce i do like your honesty . but yeah the first one is the one i worked on the most mostly becouse it a rappers girl he told me to do his girl one but he did like it no complains and about the skin tones that what they ask me to do . and so i do it , they liked it .. but thanks bro ;)
Your work isn't bad but it looks very amateurish... The 1st picture is the most appealing of all but the discolored font and background throws all of the pics off. My advice is before you work on a pic, decide what message (if any) you are trying to convey. what program did you use? I recommend Adobe Photoshop or it's FREE counterpart the Gimp. that way you will have the tools to create higher quality art. and I agree with the other guy about Tutorials. If you are ever going to advance ahead it's by learning what others have done and applying your own flavor to it. if you would like links to sites that have great Tuts let me know. to be fair I'm posting 2 of my works and you can constructively criticize them and let me know what you think. I can give you a link if they're too small to view.
jajaja ... the fist one is funny .. and no adobe hell no ... its to wierd . and i dont like it i use paint shop pro 12 much better than adobe .. but yeah hook me up with some wat evr u have! ;)
well they are not vector pics, but I really like how you are not afraid of mixing different elements, which is really cool. A tip for mixing a lot of patterns and colors is to keep them concise, not to make them so obvious. Every element belongs in the picture in one way or another.
But I think you have a very good start, I really recommend you use photoshop I know at first it might seem overwhelming, but I think if you find some good tutorials it would make the transition into the program a lot easier. Or gimp, if you don't want to spend money. If you want to work with vector drawings I recommend Inkscape which is freeware.
Not what I was planning for this year but I seem to have just landed myself on a major label due to a heap of remix work I have been doing. Good news is I am only doing remix work. I have been trying to work this out in my head without sounding like…
