Check out this image that Zadi and I found from this article:

If you see her spinning to her right (clockwise if you were looking down on her), you use more of your RIGHT brain. If you see her spinning to her left (counter-clockwise from above) you use more of your LEFT brain. If you focus, you can make her switch direction, I swear. FREAKY!

Here's the difference:

LEFT BRAIN FUNCTIONS
uses logic
detail oriented
facts rule
words and language
present and past
math and science
can comprehend
knowing
acknowledges
order/pattern perception
knows object name
reality based
forms strategies
practical
safe

RIGHT BRAIN FUNCTIONS
uses feeling
"big picture" oriented
imagination rules
symbols and images
present and future
philosophy & religion
can "get it" (i.e. meaning)
believes
appreciates
spatial perception
knows object function
fantasy based
presents possibilities
impetuous
risk taking

Hey!

Yay im a right brainer! However, If i look at her in my peripheral vision she turns the other way.. strange!

I've found that if you focus on her straight leg and watch her foot, that's where I can make her switch. It's the only part of the image that's a mirror of itself as it spins.

Right brained.

She turns clockwise for me -- it takes soo much effort to make her turn the other way -- even when I focus on just her foot. So I guess I'm an extreme right-brainer.

This is like a brain exercise. Must. make. her. turn. left.

ok now im freaking out... i went back to the page to see if i could change it and now its going the other way without me even trying. im going to sit in the corner now...

She goes both ways...I really don't mean to sound dumb but, I don't see her change much, it's allmost like it's just a timed image that keeps changing every few seconds, It does how ever mke my head hurt.

thats really creazy i could make her go either way

Reply to This

I can get it to go both. Just concentrate

Same....reload or close your eyes and whichever side the leg loads on is the way I see it turning and concentrate a lil.... maybe. I dunno.

At first glance she was spinning left to right though. Is that clockwise? I dunno. /confused

Ok I scrolled down to read some posts then i scolled back up and she's spinning in the opposite direction.

I dunno.

I'm left brained. Right brain seems so much cooler though, they have spatial perception :(

I did get her to start spinning clockwise after a little bit though, which probably means I am slightly left brained, which is in line with the results of other tests I have taken on this subject.

I'm left brained. I thought I was able to get her to slow down, but I couldn't get her to spin the other way. what the heck? There is no spoon! -- I like the article though, I'm "anti-clockwise" myself; yep, I'm against all things clockwise! Down with clockwise!!

LOL @ earwax. I have never been a big fan of Pioneer headphones. The last Pioneer headphones i purchased were the SE-NC70S and in about three months the right side died out and the battery life was crap. What I do like about pioneer is the sound q...

Well I have the 2006 80 GB classic & the 32GB iPod touch both sound qualities are great but I must agree about the classic being better. I've been getting alot positive feedback about Sennheiser so I'll give it a shot. Thanks for the info!
