YEAH! I've had that happen to me a couple of times when I was a kid! I could see my bedroom around me, but couldn't move at all.

I hate that paralysis because if your sleeping with your eyes open you think you see people in the room and your calling for help and they cant hear you. But the funny thing is that they were never in the room it's your head messing with you. I get those alot they really pissed me off because when I think that overcome it and get up I fall right back to it because I'm still sleeping then finally I wake up and start playing mario kart DD or something like that or my gready ass self get something to eat ..LOL...

My scariest is a little hard to explain... I was like, walking down a road, and I came to this fork in it. There was one side that lead over this bottomless chasm, and another had a normal road across it. I walked on the road and fell through it, screaming toward the ground, before landing on a large pile of death spikes. I awoke screaming at the top of my lungs. When I went back to sleep, I had the same dream, only I remembered the situation. I threw a rock onto the road to see if it was still stable. The rock stayed up, and I put my foot on it to test it. It felt fine, so I continued walking, until this demonic thing flew up from under it, grabbed me, and slammed me onto the spikes. I again awoke, feeling even more freaked out. The same dream happened 5 or 6 more times, each time it changed with my remembering of it all. My parents didn't make me go to school the next day, because I didn't get the tiniest bit of sleep. I stayed in bed, wide-eyed and afraid the entire time. It sucked.

my nightmare, me in a real ice world going through several corridors then one of my crew members up ahead starts screaming his head off, then all of a sudden, these gemetric shapes start charging. now at this point it formed into a moster like thing and i'm charging my way out of this cave and all of a sudden there is a collapsed bridge, i had no choice, i had to jump, but i got caught by the monster and all of a sudden...blackout

me either... no nightmares in the past 3 years... lol... but one time i dream tha spiders felt into my head... a lot!!!! jaja

the strangest nightmare i ever had was about 1 year ago, i was having a nightmare i was really scary wishing to wake up, and i had conscience to try to open my eyes with one hand.

I had another nightmare...it felt soo real...I was home alone at night watching an old episode of the simpsons on TV then it was a black out, I was a little scared..anyway, i got a torch and a book and turned on the radio, i heard rustling outside, i got scared so I got my phone and tryed to call my parents, friends and family but nobody picked up! I dicided to ignore it and keep reading but then the radio sounded all fuzy and I couldnt get a station to listen to. I turned it off. Then for some reason my book started bleeding!! And a door slammed in my house..I tryed to call the police but I couldnt move..Blackout.
IT SCARED THE SHIT OUT OF ME!

My most recent nightmare was being trapped in a house, being chased, and not able to get out. And I had a vision of one of my co-workers (dressed in red) who kept saying, "Davey, the door is above you."

A few days later, I told her about it, and she said, "Dude, you must have been in hell."

Weird to hear, but it did freak me out.

Your nightmare sounds like there's some person who has unrequited love for you, and you're scared you'd be forced into being with this person because there aren't other options...

Anyway, when I was four or five I saw the chucky movies so for the next few years of my life I was traumatized.
I had a nightmare that this christmas santa our family had in the garage came to life with a knife and was coming for me...

Face your fears a little by little, day after day, or in this case, dream by dream, night after night per occasion. I usually find that my dreams/nightmares are linked to some random thought or event that took place just before I had it, maybe that day, or week.

Do you love yourself Cami?

Are you trying to run away from the truth about who you are?

I'm no expert or even someone who is trained or educated in dream interpretations, but your dream could mean so many different things that have nothing to do with relationships concerning men in particular as much as there is a possibility of you having some self esteem issues, no offense.

I mean just listen to the question that was asked of you in your dream and consider it and not so much who it was coming from in the dream, "I love you cami, why are you running away?"

The question itself is enough to scare me.

Think about it.

Anyway, I saw your post and was interested in the topic.

I have had so many scary dreams in my life. I can only remember bits and peices. Now I don't run from nightmares or even try to wake myself up anymore as much as I try to look that thing head on and go to war with it.

Thanks Andreas. That really helped. There is a guy that loves me but i broke up with him not long ago. I did it because he was taking drugs. I still love him but Im afraid he will BEG me to come back with him (by force). he really wants me back buy I cant go back with him until he quits. Im just scared.
