Have you guys seen Semapedia? It's a pretty amazing initiative to use QR codes to connect the virtual and physical worlds with cellphone-readable hyperlinks. Check out this video that demos how it works:
Would you use QR codes in your everyday life? How would you use it?

You could use it to shop for Concerts since those are the only posters i see at the street. But I was thinking about it and i thought of a marketing campaign called the treasure hunt where people will go out with their cellphones and look for QR codes around the streets and win stuff or get hints for futher QR codes and then win discounts.
I will also use it for graffiti artists, people can put them there so you scan it and automatically go to a article about the artist and a map with locations of other works he has done.
It can really work for everything, it's an easy and fun way to post almost any kind of information on the street.
Another idea will be to post information for tourists like historical background of the place and directions.
Could be used for singles nights at bars. Everyone could bring a printout of a QR code that could be stuck on a wall and everyone could use their phone to see what the people that are attending are like before approaching them.
i don't own a phone that can browse the web, so i'm not too familiar with any kind of browser limitations... can phones run flash? i'm guessing not, i [think i] remember youtube having to switch over to a different tech to be able to be displayable on the iphone.
i'd kinda like to start a project involving this...

It would be interesting to use QR-codes in real-life games or some kind of activity. May be coupon distribution of discount codes or password to any services. Don't you just seat there, go and take it. May be you'are standing at a checkout in a supermarket and see the code, capture it, find out what you can say to get your discount )) All in all these codes connecting reality with informational world and bring some piece of a game... Let's play! )
What's to stop this from just linking to a wikipedia article? this should be able to link to any place on the web. When this original article came about I read somewhere that it would only take into account a 150 charachter URL..
However how about combining it with something like tinyurl or snipurl ?
this could extend the range of the website it could access infinitely :)

Questacon which is the place I work is using them in the galleries to provide web links from the exhibits to information about them on our website. They are slowly starting to hide them all over the center so it should be fun to see where they all go.
ive had mine a while and i treat em like hell, they sound as good the day i got them, but are not as kinesteticly pleasing, ive scratched them pretty well
LOL @ earwax. I have never been a big fan of Pioneer headphones. The last Pioneer headphones i purchased were the SE-NC70S and in about three months the right side died out and the battery life was crap. What I do like about pioneer is the sound q...
Well I have the 2006 80 GB classic & the 32GB iPod touch both sound qualities are great but I must agree about the classic being better. I've been getting alot positive feedback about Sennheiser so I'll give it a shot. Thanks for the info!
