this website notMartha made faux dessert "sushi" using twinkies, hostess powdered donuts, swedish fish and green fruit roll-ups. It's not real sushi (no rice) but it's yummier then cookies. I made some about 1 year ago and used Hello Kitty fruit snacks instead. They were so cute and yummy!

Thanks!

Yeah my biggest problem was the rice, it made everything harder to work with. But in the end it did turn out into something edible!

That show Good Eats is pretty good, Alton Brown is one smart cat.

Yup, You're suppose to use a shortgrain rice. You also forget to talk about the rice vinegar and sugar "dressing" that goes on the rice. I think that's my favorite part! Also California Rolls can be rolled with the rice on the inside too.

Almost anything can go in sushi too. I like egg on mine. In Japan it's call tamago. It's really yummy.

I learned to make sushi from this website: http://sushiday.com/
