I have some pretty eclectic tastes as well. I love relaxing to some nice country, rock, or hip hop. What I love is... DJs, or some good techno. I LOVE SOME good hiphop with a twist of classical, RAP, rock or whatever.
Crystal Method, Prodigy, and Overseer of course are some great stuff that I've loved since I was in middle school. Chemical Bros are decent but Crystal Method and Prodigy are Timeless.
I have a very varied taste in music. My favorite band, the Dresden Dolls, is (I think, I can't label them correctly) Gothic rock, but I love a lot songs you'd hear on the radio. Pretty much the only genre of music I don't really like is rap. I just don't like the heavy bass sounds. My friend is really into rap and she likes her music loud, so whenever we're driving together I always come out of the car with a major headache. I don't like most of the heavy stuff, it gives me headaches, and I generally will keep to the light and funny stuff (i.e. Gay Boyfriend) I really do like oldies too. Like I love Queen, and recently I've gotten into classical music. Like Chopin and junk.
When I go out, I'm more often than not at other peoples houses and not really any sort of businesses. Plus the people I hang out with aren't nearly as techy as me so I'd be using it with no one. And I don't really need to play social games like this…
